Former UFC lightweight title challenger Michael Chandler spoke about what he expects from his fight against former double champion Conor McGregor.
Recall, McGregor and Chandler will fight on 30 June as part of the UFC 303 tournament in Las Vegas (USA).
The 35-year-old McGregor last went into the octagon against Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264. This fight Conor lost by technical knockout after breaking his leg. He has 22 wins and six losses on his record.
Chandler said on The MMA Hour program:
The most likely scenario is I go out there and absolutely dismantle him and it might be the last time we ever see Conor fight. I can't lose to the guy that's been out for three years. I can't lose to the guy who's been written off. I can't lose to the guy who gave up and he's sleeping on silk sheets on his Lamborghini yacht. So there's a lot of pressure going on.
Chandler, 38, last fought against Dustin Porier in November 2022 at UFC 281. In that fight, Michael was defeated by a choke hold in the third round. He has 23 wins and eight losses on his record.
