Former UFC two-weight champion Henry Cejudo said that if he beats Aljamain Sterling in a championship bout, he's ready to defend the title against Sean O'Malley.

I'm in shape, I'm ready if the UFC and Dana White are willing. I signed a contract, we're just waiting for Aljamain Sterling and when the UFC sets a date. I will be named the new champion. Sean O'Malley, just wait for daddy to come back. You'll be next.
Cejudo last stepped into the octagon against his compatriot Dominick Cruz in May 2020 at UFC 249. That fight ended with Henry winning by TKO in the second round. He has 16 wins and two losses under his belt.
On October 22, at UFC 280, O'Malley defeated Russia's Petr Yan by unanimous decision, making him the No. 1 ranked fighter in the bantamweight division of the promotion. O'Malley had 16 wins, one loss and one fight declared a failure.
