Former UFC champion in two weight classes, Henry Cejudo, has responded to Dana White’s comments about not intending to arrange a rematch between him and Chinese fighter Song Yadong.
Henry Cejudo
Thank you to all of my fans and all of my haters. Well that’s not how I wanted the night to end for the fans, for Song, and definitely not for myself. We need to run this fight back ASAP!!! @danawhite I heard what you said but I encourage you to reconsider. All respect to Song, you are a warrior… but you did not win this fight and I did not lose. We have unfinished business. And I know that you agree. Run. It. Back.
Cejudo’s fight with Yadong took place on February 23 at the main event of UFC Fight Night 252 in Seattle, USA. The match was halted after an accidental eye poke forced Cejudo to stop fighting. Since three rounds had been completed, the victory was awarded to Song by technical decision.
Yadong has a mixed martial arts record of 22 wins, eight losses, and one draw, with another fight ruled a no contest. Cejudo holds a record of 16 wins and five losses.
