Brazilian UFC welterweight fighter Gilbert Burns spoke out about his former opponent, Chechen-born Swedish fighter Khamzat Chimaev.

The one thing I don't like about Chimaev is him talking about the division above. When asked about Robert Whittaker, he said he thinks he's a good guy, and they also trained together ... What kind of nonsense is that? And now he's nice. Even though he talked s** about Paulo Costa.
Burns and Chimaev fought at UFC 273 in April of this year. This confrontation lasted the entire distance and ended in Khamzat's favor by a unanimous decision of the judges.
Next time Burns will step into the octagon against American Neil Magny at UFC 283, which will be held on January 21 in Rio de Janeiro.
Chimaev fought this year in September at UFC 279 against Kevin Holland of the United States. In that fight, Khamzat strangled his opponent in the first round.
