American UFC fighter Sean Brady has weighed in on the upcoming matchup between Irish fighter Ian Garry and Brazilian Carlos Prates, set to take place on April 27 at UFC on ESPN 66 in Kansas City.

Unfortunately, I’m going to pick Ian to win this fight. Ian has more ways to win than Carlos does. “Obviously, Carlos could probably knock him out. Ian knows how to win. He’ll probably (strike) and f*****g run.
Garry last fought in the octagon against Shavkat Rakhmonov in December 2024 at UFC 310. That fight went the distance, resulting in a unanimous decision loss for Ian, bringing his record to 15 wins and one loss.
Prates last fought against Neil Magny in November 2024 at UFC Fight Night 247. That bout was stopped in the first round and ended with a knockout victory for Carlos. His record now stands at 21 wins and six losses.
