American UFC fighter Curtis Blaydes said he is ready to take the fight against French fighter Ciryl Gane, who previously mentioned him among his potential opponents.

It has to be him, for sure. I know he'll recover from his injuries in January. I'll give him eight weeks, so we can do it in April.
Blaydes last fought against Britain's Tom Aspinall this past July at UFC Fight Night 208. That fight was won by TKO, as a result of Tom's inability to continue the fight because of the injury he suffered early in the first round. The American has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
The last time Gane was in the octagon was last September at UFC Fight Night 209 against Tai Tuivasa of Australia. That fight ended in Ciryl's favor by knockout in the third round. He has 11 wins and one defeat under his belt.
