Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping believes lightweight champion Islam Makhachev won't be able to win the belt in another division.

It seems to me that Islam won't become a champion in two weight divisions. The fact is that Volkanovski will move up to lightweight and challenge Islam. If Islam defeats him, they won't have an immediate rematch in another division. Nor will Islam go down to the featherweight division. It's hard for me to imagine him making 145 pounds.
Makhachev and Volkanovski could fight at UFC 284, scheduled for Feb. 11 next year in Perth, Australia.
Makhachev had his last fight against Brazilian fighter Charles Oliveira for the UFC lightweight title on October 22 in Abu Dhabi. Islam won the fight by submission in the second round. Thus, he won the UFC lightweight championship belt.
