Russian mixed martial arts fighter and Wolnik league founder Ali Bagautinov shared in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net his thoughts about returning to the UFC, but admitted that the comeback won't happen.
Ali Bagautinov exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
I remember those times with euphoria, the victories and defeats. Sometimes I want to go back and test my strength. Especially since there's no one to look at in the flyweight division. I don't even know who the UFC champion is. I would like to return, but it's already too late. I have other goals and tasks now.
It should be noted that the 39-year-old Bagautinov last fought in November 2021, defeating Sean Santella at the Brave CF tournament. He has a total of 22 wins and seven losses in MMA. In 2014, he lost to Demetrious Johnson in a UFC flyweight title fight.
