UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall shared his expectations for the fight between Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett.
Tom Aspinall for Bloody Elbow
I watched Chandler up close fighting Charles Oliveira. I was cageside in New York, and I think when you watch a fight cageside, and you watch it on TV, it’s completely different. I think Paddy is going to knock him out, honestly, I do. I think most people would look at it and think Paddy is going to get the submission if he wins, but I honestly think Paddy is going to knock him out.
Chandler last fought against Charles Oliveira in November 2024 at UFC 309, where he lost by unanimous decision after going the distance. He has a record of 23 wins and nine losses.
Pimblett last entered the octagon against Bobby Green in July 2024 at UFC 304. That bout, which was stopped in the first round, ended in Paddy's favor by technical submission. He currently holds a record of 22 wins and three losses.
