Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall from the UK has not ruled out the possibility of being knocked out in his upcoming fight against current division champion Jon Jones.

I don’t know, it’s hard to say. Who knows what’s going to happen? I might get knocked out in [the Jones] fight. Heavyweight MMA, you can’t plan too far in the future…it’s not about being humble, it’s just about being realistic. Two guys, both massive, both got tiny gloves on, anything can happen. I do think my talent is better than anybody else’s, but I’m also realistic.
Aspinall's last fight was in July 2024 at UFC 304, where he knocked out Curtis Blaydes in the first round. His record consists of 15 wins and three losses.
Jon Jones last fought in the octagon in November 2024 at UFC 309, where he defeated Stipe Miocic by technical knockout in the third round. His professional record shows 28 wins, one loss, and one no contest.
