Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has praised the strength of current UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley, emphasizing his composure in the octagon.
Aspinall stated in an interview with TNT Sports:
The timing is fantastic and as I said, how calm he is is something that I can really respect because being in there, having so much pressure on you, especially when you talk about title fights, he just makes really, really good decisions at a really good time and that's really difficult to do.
O’Malley is set to face Merab Dvalishvili in the main event of UFC 306, scheduled for September 15 in Las Vegas, USA.
In his most recent bout, O’Malley fought Marlon Vera in March of this year at UFC 299. The fight went the distance, and Sean emerged victorious by unanimous decision. His professional record stands at 18 wins and one loss.
