Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall commented on a potential fight with current heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

He literally walks into the room and said, 'It's happening.' I said, 'Well, he's going to want loads of money.' He said, 'I know, but it's happening.' And he said, 'It's going to be the biggest fight in UFC history.'
Aspinall last fought in July 2024 at UFC 304, where he knocked out Curtis Blaydes in the first round. His record stands at 15 wins and three losses.
Jon Jones last fought in the octagon in November 2024 at UFC 309, defeating Stipe Miocic by technical knockout in the third round. He boasts a record of 28 wins and one loss, with one fight deemed no contest.
