Former ONE Championship welterweight champion Ben Askren reacted to the rumor that Russian fighter Petr Yan no longer wants to compete within the UFC.

I don't think he wants to be in the UFC anymore. The management has to find a good deal for him. I think he wants to compete in ONE since he trains in Thailand. The UFC might want Johnson back. That would be wild.
Yan had his last fight against the representative of the United States, Sean O'Malley, in October of this year at the UFC 280 tournament. In this confrontation, Petr lost to his opponent by split decision. He has 16 wins and four losses under his belt.
Johnson last came into the cage against Brazilian Adriano Moraes in August of this year at ONE FC. That fight ended in favor of Demetrious by knockout in the fourth round. He has 31 wins, four losses and one draw.
