Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski spoke about his recent 36-hour fast. The Belarusian fighter said he decided to follow the advice of UFC head Dana White, having previously fasted for 86 hours, only drinking water.
Andrei Arlovski
So, I did it! I was fasting for the first time in my life. It was not 86 hours [like Dana White]; for me, it was only 36 because I started to have a headache. But definitely, after, I felt AMAZING and still do.
Arlovski will next step into the octagon against Waldo Cortes-Acosta at UFC Fight Night 234, which is scheduled to take place on the night of January 14 in Las Vegas, USA.
Arlovski last fought against Don'Tale Mayes in June of this year at UFC on ESPN 46. In this confrontation Andrei was defeated by technical knockout in the second round. He has 34 wins and 22 losses in mixed martial arts.
