Current UFC light heavyweight champion, Russian fighter Magomed Ankalaev, responded to criticism from Czech fighter Jiří Procházka.
Procházka congratulated Ankalaev on his victory over Alex Pereira at UFC 313 but noted that most people did not like him becoming a champion.

Ankalaev last fought against Alex Pereira on March 9 at UFC 313, where he won by unanimous decision after a full three-round contest. His record now stands at 20 wins, one loss, and one draw, with another fight being ruled as a no contest.
Procházka’s most recent fight was against Jamahal Hill in January this year at UFC 311, which ended in his favor with a technical knockout in the third round. His overall record includes 31 wins, five losses, and one draw.
