Famous Russian UFC fighter Magomed Ankalaev shared his thoughts on a potential matchup between former heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and Vadim Nemkov.
Telecomasia.net reports Ankalaev as saying:
Of course, this is a very interesting fight. I believe Ngannou is the most dangerous heavyweight, but Vadim is better on the ground. The fight will reveal a lot; it's hard to make a prediction.
Ngannou last fought on October 19 against Renan Ferreira at the PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants event. In that bout, which was stopped in the first round, Francis won by knockout. His current record stands at 18 wins and three losses.
Nemkov's most recent fight took place in February of this year against Bruno Cappelozza. In that match, which ended in the second round, Vadim won by technical submission. The Russian fighter has a record of 17 wins, two losses, and one no contest in mixed martial arts.
