Tajik mixed martial arts fighter Nurullo Aliev commented on the incident that happened during his fight against Rafael Alves at UFC Fight Night 220.
Recall, in the first round of the fight, Alves told the referee that Aliev bit his finger. As a result, Nurullo lost one point.
Nurullo Aliev
I didn't bite him. When I was controlling him with my head, he put his fingers in my mouth and I wanted to spit them out. His finger got stuck in my teeth. He probably did that because he got really tired, he felt the control of the mountain eagle.
The fight between Aliev and Alves was the first on the UFC Fight Night 220 card, which took place in Las Vegas on the night of Feb. 26. After three rounds, Nurullo was declared the winner by split decision: 29-27, 29-27, 28-28.
