UFC heavyweight fighter Alexander Volkov commented on his chances of getting a title shot if he emerges victorious against second-ranked Ciryl Gane.
Volkov and Gane are set to face off in a rematch on December 8 in Las Vegas, USA, at UFC 310.
This isn’t up to me; there are too many factors at play. If I show an impressive performance against Gane and do something unexpected, my chances for a title fight might increase. But this is mixed martial arts, so it's highly unpredictable. Of course, I will give it my all. However, our matchup could end up being boring or it might feature an exciting first-round knockout. A lot will depend on the UFC, on Tom Aspinall, and Jon Jones. There are so many nuances involved that I really don’t know anything about my future after this fight.
