Eugene Bareman, coach of former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, has confirmed that the New Zealand fighter has been training for a month and a half and is ready to return to the octagon.

He’s back training, so he’s back in the swing of things. He’s basically finished his little hiatus, and he’s ready to come back. So just give us a date, give us an opponent, and we’ll show up, ready to go.
Adesanya last stepped into the octagon against Sean Strickland in September 2023 at UFC 293. That fight went the full distance and ended in a unanimous decision defeat for Israel. He has 24 wins and three losses on his record.
