UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is set to fight for his title on September 10 at UFC 293 in Sydney, Australia. His opponent will be the winner of the fight between Robert Whittaker and Dricus du Plessis.
Earlier, UFC president Dana White announced an agreement with the New South Wales government to hold three tournaments within four years.

Recall that the fight between Robert Whittaker and Dricus du Plessis will take place on July 8 at UFC 290.
Adesanya, 34, in his last fight, which took place in April 2023 at UFC 287, defeated Alex Pereira by TKO in the second round to win back his UFC middleweight championship belt. He has 24 wins and two losses under his belt.
