Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has shared his thoughts on the greatest fighters in mixed martial arts history.
Israel Adesanya for Give Me Sport
Mount Rushmore, I'll give you, again, Demetrious [Johnson], Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, I'll say Conor [McGregor] because of the impact he had in the game, and I want to put GSP [Georges St-Pierre] up there as well just cause of the champion he was in and out of the Octagon. But again, that can switch. What about Khabib? He is one of the greatest, of course.
Adesanya is set to step into the octagon again against Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Fight Night 250 on February 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
His last fight was against Dricus Du Plessis in August 2024 at UFC 305. That match ended in the fourth round with Israel losing by submission. He currently holds a record of 24 wins and four losses.
