There are no fighters in the ACA that I want to face. I would like to take on someone from abroad who has a good name in MMA and is world-famous. Fighting guys who are not active isn’t particularly fun. I’m thinking about someone like Fabricio Werdum. But I would be open to fighting any current top-10 UFC fighters if their contracts have expired. I would gladly meet someone strong from across the ocean who has proven themselves. Alexander Romanov is a decent fighter, but he’s not really a foreigner. I would love to fight Derrick Lewis or Curtis Blaydes. Whoever is in the top 5 UFC, that’s who I’d like to face.
On June 28th, at the ACA tournament in Sochi, heavyweight champion Evgeny Goncharov will defend his title against Alikhan Vakhaev. In March 2023, Goncharov won against Vakhaev by unanimous decision.
