Russian UFC fighter Abusupyan Magomedov told why he lost to American Sean Strickland in a fight held in July at UFC on ESPN 48.
Recall, Magomedov lost to Strickland by technical knockout in the second round.
In an interview with RB Sport, Madomedov said:
I was already tired in the first round. When I entered the fight, I felt that something was wrong. But even in that condition I managed to win one round. I mentioned earlier that I overtrained and wanted to win too much. And I trained incorrectly. My body was done with it and did not obey.
Strickland last went into the octagon against Israel Adesanya in September 2023 at UFC 293. In this confrontation, Sean won by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 28 wins and five losses on his record.
