Red bull racer and Belgian Max Verstappen is going to start the Russian Grand Prix at the back of the grid. Max already came into the Grand Prix with a three-grid penalty because of his crash with Lewis Hamilton, where the authorities found him “predominantly to blame” for the debacle. The last grid penalty comes in the face of Red Bull making an engine in Sochi before the Grand Prix.
As a result of the penalty, Mercedes racer Lewis Hamilton has a huge advantage to close out on the five points lead of Verstappen. Mercedes’ F1 boss Toto Wolff said that Hamilton won’t shy away from on-track battles.
