After losing a couple of days to rain, the second test between Pakistan and West Indies is well poised. After putting up 302/9 in first innings courtesy of a dogged Fawad Alam century, Pakistan got rid of all West Indies wickets on Day 4 when WI made a paltry 150 as Shaheen Shah Afridi rattled six of the wickets. After dismissing West Indies, Pakistan began in T-20 like fashion and racked up 176/6 in 27.2 Overs.
After making 176 and taking a lead of 328, Pakistan made a bold declaration which did raise some questions but the declaration came so they can have a chance at bowling out West Indies in a rain-infested game. The West Indies openers looked comfortable and even found the rope multiple times before Keiran Powell committed a blunder while running between the wickets, getting run out off a direct hit from Shaheen Shah Afridi at the score 34, Powell looked in great touch before getting out on 23. Now, West Indies need 280 runs on the final day with nine wickets in hand as Kraigg Braithwaite is going to begin on 17 and nightwatchman Alzari Joseph is going to join him in the chase.
