Kim Hong Bin who represented South Korea in the 2002 Winter Paralympics in Alpine skiing has been missing after falling from a mountain in Pakistan. The disabled mountain climber lost all his fingers in a frostbite while scaling Alaska Range in 1991.
Kim dreamed of climbing the 14 of the world’s tallest mountains and Broad peak was his last stop. Kim is the only disabled person to cross all mountains above 8000 metres called “Eight thousanders”. Kim fell into a crevasse that was located among the Chinese mountains that border the Broad Peak in Pakistan.
