Japan survives late Mexican counter-attack in Under-23 Men's Football

Japan U-23 team has beaten Mexico by 2-1 in the Group A Match during the Olympics. Japan came into the game as the underdogs but their crisp passing and attacking style won them the game.

Japan scored both of their goals within 12 minutes, courtesy of Takefusa Kubo and Ritsu Doan. The Mexican played catch up all game and their only goal was netted by Roberto Alvorado.
