England batter Liam Livingstone has expressed his views about his improved batting and said that he wants to keep getting better. Livingstone said that he worked on his front foot movement to generate more power and improve his hitting. He said that since correcting some technical flaws, he feels more confident and has become a boisterous batter. The batter has been included in England’s T20 World Cup squad and is going to play a key role.
Livingstone made his international debut in 2017 but his initial games didn’t go well. However, he got recalled to the squad this year and impressed in the series versus Pakistan. He also hit the fastest century by an England player against Pakistan. Livingston has an average of 34.33 courtesy of the century and his strike rate is an impressive 167.47.
It was a great summer for me. I was really enjoying my cricket and feeling super-confident. I couldn't have wished for it to go any better but it's done now, it's gone. We're moving on to a new phase with the IPL now and the World Cup coming up and it will be an even better year if I can put in some performances in them.
