New Zealand rugby captain Les Elder opened up about her dream to win the world cup and one other dream that come true in form of her daughter. She said that her desire to win the Rugby World Cup took its full flight three years ago and now she is surrounded by that thought daily since then. She also added that her World Cup dream has soared even higher ever since the birth of her daughter. Les Elder is right now in England to play the hosts for a two-test series in a bid to prepare for the next year’s world cup.
Les Elders, Captain, New Zealand Rugby
Before I had my daughter I was pretty sure what my 'why' was and what got me up in the morning. But now that 'why' is gone and a new one sits in front of me and gets me up every morning. It's a why that is probably deeper than anything I've ever had. If what I'm doing positively impacts my girl in 10, 20, 30 years' time, everything I'm doing now to lead to that is 100% worth it.
