Oman and Bangladesh will clash in what will be the second match for both teams. Oman comes into the game after rattling Papua New Guinea for an easy win, meanwhile, Bangladesh lost to a lower-ranked team in Scotland.
Although Oman comes in with a ten-wicket win, however, the task is going to be way stiffer this time when the team takes on Bangladesh. Bangladesh has a much stronger bowling attack with Mustafizur Rahman and Saifuddin as the pacers, however, the team’s main strength is the spin duo of Shakib Al Hasan and Mehdi Hasan.
Bangladesh comes off a disappointing performance and none of the batters, including veterans Rahim, Shakib, and Mahmudullah organized the chase well. The Bangladeshi team can’t take Oman lightly and will need to come up with a much better batting performance. On the other hand, for Oman, Zeeshan Maqsood who took four wickets and Kalimullah who has been in a more than decent form will look to unsettle the Bangladesh batsmen.
Bangladesh comes as the favored team, however, the team also entered as the favored one against Scotland. Oman is playing at home and has some destructive batters like Jatinder Singh and Aqib Javed in the start who can click on the tempo. This is a must-win game for Bangladesh who will be all but out of the Super 12s contention if they lose. Can Oman pull off an upset over the visitors?
