NHL players through anonymous voting chose the best hockey player of the league. 639 players of the league took part in the voting.
Pittsburgh forward Sidney Crosby was recognized as the best player in the league after the vote with 38.37%. It should be noted that Crosby has been recognized as the best player in the league for five consecutive seasons. In the season-2023/24 Crosby played in 78 games, scoring 40 times and giving 46 assists.
Aleksander Barkov finished second in the voting with 14.60% of the votes, while Anze Kopitar got 8.15% of the votes, Connor McDavid received 7.81% and Nathan MacKinnon received 6.62%.
Earlier, Crosby repeated Gretzky's record for most goals for a single club in the NHL.
