According to an anonymous survey of KHL general managers conducted by Sport-Express, Edmonton forward Connor McDavid is the best hockey player in the world.
Eight of the 21 managers voted for the Canadian hockey player.
Five managers voted for Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin. Among Russians, Tampa goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy was also mentioned.
General managers of all KHL clubs, except Lokomotiv, participated in the poll.
