France continued its dominance in handball as they took home a gold medal in the event by beating ROC in the women’s section. Earlier, the men’s team also won the gold after beating Denmark.
French women won the game 30-25 as Pauletta Foppa dominated the game scoring seven goals while not missing a single attempt. For France, Cleopatra Darleux dominated on the defensive end, blocking nine shots. Meanwhile the bronze medal belonged to Norway who beat Sweden 36-19.
