Former head coach of Real Madrid Zinedine Zidane has no intention of taking over Bayern Munich, journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed on social media.
It was reported that the 51-year-old French coach could replace Thomas Tuchel as the head coach of the Bavarians. However, these rumors have not been confirmed so far.
Tuchel will leave his position as head coach of Bayern Munich at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Earlier, eight-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi expressed regret that he did not have the opportunity to meet Zidane on the football pitch during the Frenchman's playing career. Current Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti named the 1998 World Cup champion as the strongest player he has worked with on the same team.
