Zambia women's national team head coach Bruce Mwape has been sent under investigation over allegations of sexual abuse of national team football players.

It was reported that the players began receiving threats if they decided to speak out about the situation, but not from the coach
The Football Federation of Zambia did not respond at all because of the good results of the national team. They wanted to preserve the team's positive image in the eyes of the public and the country's authorities.
The country's football association noted that they had not received any complaints, but still turned the investigation over to law enforcement and FIFA.
