Sixteen-year-old midfielder from the Spanish national team Lamine Yamal shared his emotions with the UEFA press service after making his debut in the opening match of the Euro 2024 group stage against Croatia.
The Spaniards defeated the Croatian national team with a score of 3-0. The 16-year-old midfielder contributed with an assist, becoming the youngest player in the history of European championships to do so.

Following the victory against Croatia, the Spanish national team leads Group B. On June 20, they will face the Italian national team.
