Yamal Becomes Youngest Player in Champions League History to Play 20 Matches

Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has made history in the UEFA Champions League by becoming the first player under the age of 18 to play 20 matches in the tournament.

In the first match of the quarter-final round this season, Barcelona defeated Borussia Dortmund 4-0.

So far this season, the 17-year-old has played in 43 matches for Barcelona across all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 20 assists. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027. According to Transfermarkt, Yamal's market value is 180 million euros.
