Betis midfielder and Argentine national team player Guido Rodriguez has signed a contract with Barcelona, journalist Gaston Edul announced on social media.
Rodriguez has been playing for Betis since 2020. The footballer's contract expires in the summer of 2024. Transfermarkt estimates the 30-year-old player's value at 24 million euros.
It is reported that the 2022 World Cup champion Rodriguez will officially become a Barcelona player on July 1st after his current contract ends.
Earlier, there was information that the agent of Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez offered his client to Barcelona. It was also reported that the Catalan club's management intends to sell 21-year-old midfielder Pedri during the summer transfer window.
