Former Real Madrid player and Dutch national team member Wesley Sneijder shared with Veronica Offside about his irritations with Quincy Promes and Memphis Depay during national team gatherings.
Wesley Sneijder
I felt irritated with Promes. Quincy and Depay made music. Between our practices, they played loud music. One day, the day before an important match, loud heavy rock could be heard from their room. That's when I went to their room and asked them to stop. Memphis was initially upset, but the next day admitted that I did the right thing.
Recall that Spartak Moscow forward Quincy Promes is currently in the UAE and is likely to be extradited to his home country, where he has been sentenced in absentia to 7.5 years in prison for drug trafficking and assaulting his cousin.
