Myke Rabar, the Chief Executive Officer of the Local Organizing Committee for the 2025 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) says Kenya is well on course to deliver all requirements ahead of the tournament set for August.
The 2025 CHAN will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. It was initially set for February but pushed to August to give the three countries more time to prepare. There have been fears that Kenya is lagging behind in preparation, but speaking to Telecomasia.net, Rabar says they are working round the clock to deliver all requirements.
Myke Rabar
We have been working very closely with government to deliver a successful CHAN and we remain very confident that everything will fall in place. With two months to go, we are working round the clock on all deliverables. The good thing is that CAF officials have been here with us and we are constantly updating them on everything and they are giving us huge support.
CAF’s Secretary General Veron Mosengo Omba was in the country last week for a round if inspections ahead of the tournament.
