Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has opened up about his struggles with alcohol even before the start of his professional football career.
Rooney hung up his boots in 2021 to begin a coaching career. His last coaching stint was with Birmingham.

It wasn’t an easy place to live but, I absolutely loved growing up there, it taught me so many different things. I remember when I was 14, we used to go to an abandoned, empty house and we’d sit in there and drink.
Previously, Rooney said that Cristiano Ronaldo only cared about scoring goals.
