Brazilian footballer, forward of Real Madrid and the Brazil national team, Vinicius Junior, has been recognized as the best player of the UEFA Champions League season 2023/2024. This was announced by the tournament's press service on social media.
In the past UEFA Champions League season the Brazilian played 10 matches, scoring six goals and providing five assists.
Vinicius has been with Real Madrid since 2028. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027. Junior became the youngest player to score goals in two Champions League finals, breaking Lionel Messi's record by thirteen days.
Real Madrid has not lost any of the last nine Champions League finals.
