Brazilian forward of Real Madrid Vinicius Júnior supported Italian AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, who became the target of racist insults from Udinese fans in the match of the 21st round of Serie A (3:2).
Recall, in the middle of the first half, the match was interrupted because of Udinese fans shouting at the goalkeeper, but five minutes later the game resumed.
Vinicius wrote on his social media:
Just talking won't change anything. It is time to imprison racists so that they are ashamed of who they are. Always with you, Maignan.
Note that Vinicius was also racially abused by Barcelona fans in the El Clasico. Before that, a similar case with him happened in a match with Sevilla.
Earlier in the day, FIFA President Gianni Infantino suggested that Udinese should have been declared the losers because their fans had caused the match to be interrupted.
