Liverpool's central defender and captain Virgil van Dijk shared his thoughts on the 16th round match of the English Premier League against Fulham, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Van Dijk's words were reported by BBC, citing Sky Sports:
Virgil van Dijk
A great comeback is very positive. It’s disappointing having 10 men but we showed fight, kept trying to create chances. Could have been more but we take the point and move on.
It is worth noting that Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson received a straight red card in the 17th minute, forcing the team to fight back with an incomplete squad.
As of now, Liverpool sits at the top of the Premier League table with 36 points after 15 matches played.
Earlier, it was reported that Liverpool's management is moving closer to extending the contract of the team's forward Mohamed Salah.
