Former Dutch goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar suffered a brain hemorrhage while on vacation in Split, Croatia.
The athlete was taken to the hospital by helicopter and is currently in intensive care in a stable condition, 24Sata informs.
The 52-year-old goalkeeper has played for Ajax, Juventus, Fulham and Manchester United during his career. From November 2016 to May 2023, he served as Ajax's general manager.
