UEFA has announced the schedule for the group stage matches of the Champions League on its official website. The first round of the group stage will take place from September 17 to 19.
The group stage will conclude on January 29, with all matches of the final round starting simultaneously at 20:00 GMT+3. The complete schedule is available on the UEFA website.
It’s worth noting that the draw for the group stage took place on August 29. This season, the traditional group tournament, which featured 32 clubs, has been replaced with a revamped stage involving 36 teams. Each team will play eight matches — two against opponents from each of the four pots, one home and one away.
During the ceremony, 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo of Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team was awarded a trophy as the top scorer in the Champions League.
