The European football association (UEFA) has revealed the contenders for the best player of the week award in the Champions League following the quarter-final matches, with four players in the running.
The list of contenders includes PSG forward Ousmane Dembele, who scored once against Barcelona, as well as Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, who played the full match against Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt, who scored a goal in the game against Madrid's Atletico, and Bayern Munich defender Joshua Kimmich, who netted the winning goal in the match against Arsenal.
Earlier, Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer set a new record in the Champions League for the number of clean sheet matches in the tournament.
UEFA is also considering the possibility of sanctions against Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo for the gesture he made during the second leg of the Champions League quarter finals against PSG.
