Bayern Munich's head coach, Thomas Tuchel, will receive a significant financial compensation after parting ways with the Munich club, as journalist Florian Plettenberg shared on social media.
According to the journalist, the compensation for Tuchel's departure will amount to over 10 million euros. It is reported that the German coaching staff's salaries will be paid until the summer of 2025.
After Bayern's elimination from the Champions League and securing second place in the Bundesliga, the coach will not continue leading Bayern and will leave the club next summer.
Tuchel has been in charge of Bayern since March 2023. Under his guidance, the team achieved 37 victories, drew 8 times, and suffered 16 defeats.
SkySports reported that Bayern's management had planned to extend the agreement with Tuchel for the next season instead of dismissing him.
However, Tuchel later announced that negotiations with the Munich club regarding a contract extension had reached an impasse, and he would depart from the team after the current season is over.
