Famous website Transfermarkt has updated its prices for footballers. Inter Miami's Argentine striker Lionel Messi has once again dropped in price.
The world champion and eight-time Ballon d'Or winner moved to the United States in the summer of 2023 after winning the League Cup with his current team.
Before the update, Messi was valued at 35 million euros, but the price of the Argentine now stands at 30 million. Interestingly, Lionel is still the most expensive player in MLS, ahead of his Argentine teammate Thiago Almada of Atlanta United by three million euros.
Earlier, Inter Miami coach Gerardo Martino said Messi's absence is felt by any team. Gerard Pique also recalled the first time he saw Lionel.
