Georgian national team and Spanish Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has become the most expensive goalkeeper according to Transfermarkt.
The market value of the 23-year-old player increased by €10 million - from €35 million to €45 million. The second place in the ranking was taken by Portuguese Diogo Costa from Porto, whose value increased by €5 million, also up to €45 million.
At the last European Championship, the goalkeeper of the Georgian national team played four matches, in which he conceded eight goals and kept one clean sheet. Last season he took part in 37 games with Valencia, conceded 41 goals and kept 13 clean sheets.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Valencia intend to sell Mamardashvili for €35-40 million euros.
